Our Story: From Supporting Farmers to Catalyzing Systems
Our journey began in the fields - quite literally!
KS Development Partners started with Krishi Star, a food enterprise focused on helping smallholder farmers in India improve their livelihoods. As we grew, we realised that meaningful change required more than just sourcing produce it meant creating demand through branded products, developing value-added processing, and building market linkages that sustained farmer income.

This insight shaped our core belief: lasting impact happens when demand, capacity, and ecosystems grow together.

While our food business continues to thrive, it also sparked the creation of a second vertical: KS Impact, as development organisations sought our support in designing and implementing systemic solutions. Over time, we have expanded beyond agriculture into micro-entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems, education, and skilling, applying the same principles of collaboration, ecosystem building, and strategic co-design.
