The “Krishi Star – GiZ Himachal Pradesh Apple Engagement” was formulated around a business model that was proposed to benefit GiZ-supported farmers in Himachal Pradesh by enabling them to market premium apples year-round. This model was based on three major components:
1. Extend shelf-life
2. Leverage existing value chain capabilities and connect growers to high-value B2B buyers.
